… is used for a easy cutting to recieve exact strip-shaped specimen for tensile and sealing tests.
Easy and comfortable to use
Available for 15mm or 1 inch
Changeable standard blades
For film, paper, cardboard etc.
How it works
This precision tool may be used whenever strip-shaped specimen made of film, paper, cardboard and similar material is desired.
The standard STR has a 15 mm cutting width and a cutting length of up to 300 mm to produce customised specimen.
Examples are specimen needed for Hot Tack Tests and the determination of the bond strength, seam strength and tensile strength based on international standards.
Unlike the traditional cutting tools, the STR is equipped with removable industrial blades. You can replace worn blades in no time. There is no need for grinding the blades, which can be expensive and time-consuming.
